With 20 years of practice, Brian Fitzsimmons has received numerous honors and awards throughout his career for personal, artistic and design achievements. These include local, state, regional and national AIA honors, recognition in international academic competitions, and okcBIZ magazine’s Forty Under 40 and Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 awards. Brian is dedicated to the task of providing intelligent and meaningful design to the architecture landscape of his home state.

Brian founded Fitzsimmons Architects, Inc. in 2005 as a full-service architectural design firm. In almost two decades of working in the field of architecture, Brian has been involved in a wide range of notable projects and has been a key factor in the success of many architectural and construction challenges. Brian is noted for his ability to see possibilities in designs that also meet the practical solutions necessary for a project’s success.

Upon establishing his own practice in Oklahoma City, he has continued to seek projects that offer the opportunity to be much more than they appear on the surface and that will enhance the built environment in the community around him.  Brian’s dedication to his craft and others’ recognition of it is evidenced by his growing portfolio of award-winning projects.
